Every engagement starts with understanding your situation. The challenges facing a growing Oregon small business look different from those inside a large enterprise, and often so do the solutions. What doesn't change is the experience and toolkit I bring from working with both for 25+ years: deep technical fluency, driving clarity on where you're going and how you'll get there, and a direct, hands-on, outcome-based approach.
You're hearing about AI constantly but don't know what's actually worth it, or how to get your team using it most effectively.
Your operations depend on workarounds, manual handoffs, and tools that don't talk to each other.
You're ready to grow but your systems and processes are outdated and haven't kept up with the pace of innovation and change.
You've evaluated or bought software before and ended up with the wrong fit.
You need senior strategic or technical leadership but can't justify a full-time hire.
Practical programs that help your team understand, adopt, and get real value from AI tools, without the hype or the confusion.
Lean process improvement and workflow redesign that frees your team to focus on what drives growth.
Vendor-neutral guidance on CRM, eCommerce, workflow, and data platforms, from evaluation through go-live.
Half-day or full-day facilitated sessions that produce a clear, prioritized 90-day to 12-month action plan.
Senior product, program, or transformation leadership on an interim or part-time basis during periods of transition or rapid scaling.
A major transformation program is stalling with too many workstreams and not enough alignment.
You have data investments and AI ambitions but no clear path connecting them to business outcomes.
High-stakes initiatives are slipping due to governance gaps or delivery discipline issues.
Technology rollouts are meeting resistance and adoption isn't happening at the expected pace.
You have products or platforms being built but no clear ownership, prioritization framework, or connection between what's shipping and what the business actually needs.
Multi-workstream programs spanning technology, process, and change for organizations navigating significant operational shifts.
Portfolio-level roadmaps that connect enterprise data assets and AI capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
Executive-level oversight for high-stakes, multi-team initiatives where alignment, governance, and delivery discipline matter.
Structured organizational readiness, adoption planning, and executive communication that makes technology investments actually stick.
Hands-on product leadership for digital products, platforms, and internal tools, from vision and roadmap through execution. Embedded or advisory, depending on what the team needs.

About CMOR Consulting LLC
CMOR Consulting is a one-person practice by design. When you engage CMOR, you're getting me, Cory Morgan. Start to finish. There is no bait-and-switch, no junior consultant doing the work while I pop in for the kickoff meeting. You get senior perspective and hands-on involvement throughout.
I started my career as a developer and software architect, spending over a decade building enterprise systems before moving to the business side. That technical foundation is what makes me effective as a strategist. I speak both languages, and I have spent 25+ years being the translator in the room between what technology can do and what businesses actually need.
I am based in Portland, Oregon and deeply connected to this community. I serve on the board of Down Syndrome Network Oregon, the Tigard-Tualatin School District Budget Committee, and have a long history of volunteer leadership. The values that guide how I show up for my clients are the same ones that guide how I show up for my community.
Career Highlights
Most engagements start with a 30-minute conversation. No pitch, no pressure. Just an honest discussion about where you are, where you want to go, and whether I can help.
